Do you take credit cards?
Yes. Payment is due at time of service, and may be made by either cash, check, or credit card. I accept American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.
The fee for individual and couple therapy is $200 per 50-minute session. The fee for sex therapy is the same as for psychotherapy. Various session lengths can be scheduled, depending upon your need, with the fee adjusted accordingly.
To help you with planning, within the first few sessions, after there has been the opportunity to better understand your particular concerns and establish goals, I will discuss with you the amount of therapy that I believe will help.
To not compromise the care of my patients, as well as to protect their privacy and confidentiality, I do not participate in any insurance plans or panels. All services are provided on a fee-for-service basis. I am happy to provide a statement to help you seek reimbursement from your insurance.
Many insurance companies have an Out-Of-Network or a Single Case Agreement provision that may partially reimburse your direct payment to me. I know that dealing with insurance can be daunting. Sometimes I am asked whether therapy is available for a reduced fee. Reduced-fee sessions are sometimes available during non-peak times of the day for those with a compelling financial need.
If you are having financial challenges and cannot afford reduced-fee sessions, I will be happy to offer you the names of agencies that may be able to help you.
