Should I come in alone or with my partner?

If you wish to work on yourself individually, you do not need to bring your partner. However, a partner's perspective can help make your therapy experience more effective.

If you wish to work on your relationship as a couple, it is important that both of you participate in therapy together. However, sometimes there are circumstances in which it may be more appropriate to work on couple concerns on an individual basis.

If you believe you are experiencing such a circumstance, please bring this up so that we may discuss it before your initial session.

In couple therapy, I believe it is important to be neutrally available to you as a couple in a manner that is supportive of both of you.

I invite you to contact me so that we may confidentially discuss what may be best for your situation. Please feel welcome to email me, or call (425) 247-1880.
